State Police, along with the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department, believe they have located the body of missing 15-year-old Nichole Cable.
The family has been notified of the developments. The missing Glenburn girl hasn’t been seen since Mother’s Day. Positive identification will not take place until a further examination by the Medical Examiner’s Office Tuesday.
The Maine Warden Service found the remains at an undisclosed location around 9:30 P.M. Monday. The sight has been secured for the night and the recovery of the body will begin Tuesday morning.
More information is expected to be available at a news conference Tuesday morning at the Penobscot County Sheriff's Department in Bangor at 11:30 A.M. We will continue to follow this story as more information becomes available.
